Woodlea is a growing community in West Melbourne. Launched as the third sales and discovery centre within the development, Woodlea Hub is a dynamic facility that reimagines the conventional sales approach.

The two-storey structure is a multifunctional space for prospective homebuyers to relax during enquiries and negotiations. It acts as a public attraction with amenities such as a third space, café, and children's play area, while also housing a commercial zone with offices for Woodlea's sales and marketing teams. 

After excavating around 400 cubic metres of rock, we constructed the building framework using concrete and steel. The exterior was made up of various materials, including recycled timber, all thoughtfully chosen to align with Woodlea's design ethos for this phase of development.

We constructed the entrance from Exotec, featuring raked Sculptform cladding. The reception boasts a multidirectional ceiling with a central void, purposefully crafted for marketing purposes. Feature batten screens define distinct zones within the space.

By embracing eco-conscious principles, the builing is futureproofed to be converted into a childcare centre, demonstrating Woodlea’s commitment to sustainability through reduced waste and minimized environmental impact.
